Am Dienstag, den 24. Juni, um 19.15 Uhr zeigt das Unikino Tübingen „Das leere Grab“ von Agnes Lisa Wegner und Cece Mlay im Hörsaal 24 (Kupferbau). Die deutsch-tansanische Produktion behandelt die Aufarbeitung der deutschen Kolonialzeit im heutigen Tansania. Im Fokus stehen zwei Familien aus dem Süden Tansanias, die darum kämpfen, ihre Ahnen aus deutschen Museen und Sammlungen nach Hause zurückzuholen.
Der Film dauert 97 Minuten und wird in den Sprachen Deutsch, Kiswahili und Englisch mit Untertiteln gezeigt. Der Eintritt ist frei.

On Tuesday, June 24th, at 7.15 pm Unikino Tübingen presents „Das leere Grab“ (The empty grave) by Agnes Lisa Wegner and Cece Mlay, in auditorium 24 (Kupferbau). The German-Tanzanian production deals with the impact of the German colonial era in present-day Tanzania. At its centre are two families from southern Tanzania who are fighting to have their ancestors' remains repatriated from German museums and collections.
The film is 97 minutes long and is presented in German, Kiswahii and English with subtitles. Entry is free of charge.
