Das MUT wurde bei den CIVIS Days 2025 an der Sapienza Universität in Rom durch Dr. des. Annika Vosseler vertreten. Im Rahmen des Museum University Forums (MUF) stellte sie zwei zentrale Beiträge des MUT vor: die Beteiligung am Pop-up-Store Eckstein der Universität Tübingen sowie den partizipativen Workshop „Provenienzforschung für Jugendliche“, der jungen Menschen einen niedrigschwelligen Zugang zu Fragen der Herkunft, Sammlungsgeschichte und kolonialen Vergangenheit bietet.
Im Anschluss diskutierten die Teilnehmenden verschiedene thematische Ansätze und tauschten sich über gemeinsame Projektideen und mögliche Formen der Zusammenarbeit im Kontext universitärer Museen und Provenienzforschung aus.
Die dreitägige Veranstaltung stand unter dem Motto „Inclusion and Diversity in Higher Education“ und brachte Vertreter*innen aus der gesamten CIVIS-Allianz zusammen. In interaktiven Sessions, Workshops und Dissemination-Panels wurden Best Practices ausgetauscht, neue Strategien entwickelt und gemeinsame Perspektiven für eine inklusive und partizipative Hochschulbildung diskutiert.
Mit ihrem Engagement im Pop-up-Store und der aktiven Teilnahme am Forum leistete das MUT-Team einen wichtigen Beitrag zur internationalen Vernetzung universitärer Museen und ihrer gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung.

The MUT was represented at the CIVIS Days 2025 at Sapienza University in Rome by Annika Vosseler. As part of the Museum University Forum (MUF), she presented two key contributions from MUT: its involvement in the University of Tübingen’s Pop-up Store Eckstein and the participatory workshop Provenance Research for Young People, which offers pupils a low-threshold introduction to questions of provenance research, collection history, and colonial legacies.
Following the presentation, participants discussed various thematic approaches and exchanged ideas for joint projects and potential forms of collaboration in the context of university museums and provenance research.
The three-day event was held under the theme “Inclusion and Diversity in Higher Education” and brought together representatives from across the CIVIS alliance. In interactive sessions, workshops, and dissemination panels, participants shared best practices, developed new strategies, and explored joint perspectives for inclusive and participatory higher education.
Through its involvement in the pop-up store and active participation in the forum, the MUT team made a valuable contribution to the international networking of university museums and their societal responsibility.
